Supporting Pediatric Healthcare Providers to Increase Vaccination Uptake

Apr 20, 2021 | News

The Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is recruiting primary care practices to join a 4-month learning collaborative aimed to identify the needs of pediatric healthcare clinicians related to increasing routine vaccination in children and adolescents with focus on children with chronic medical conditions and high-risk immunocompromised pediatric populations, such as survivors of childhood cancer and gastrointestinal (GI) patients on immunosuppressive medications. This project creates opportunities to share successes, lessons learned, and resources to support a more optimal vaccine delivery system and facilitate increased vaccination rates.
