#VoteKids in Election 2020

Oct 8, 2020 | News

Election Day 2020 is Tuesday, November 3. Voting is one of the main ways that citizens can affect policies and laws that govern access to essential resources like high-quality nutrition, education, housing, and health care. Pediatricians can help mobilize peers, patients, and parents to #VoteKids because the health of all children depends on us!

Many children’s health issues are at stake this election. Before you vote, ask your candidates where they stand on key child health issues, including:

Health Care Coverage
Health Care Access
Health Care Inequities
COVID-19 Global Health Pandemic
Immigrant Child Health
Education
Gun Violence
Racism
Climate Change

To learn more on how children are affected by these issues, visit AAP’s Election 2020: Vote Kids resource page.
